Deburring
Once the moulding phase is over, the products are transferred to the deburring department , where the moulding burrs are removed and the parts are finished and smoothed.
This phase is highly manual and therefore experienced and qualified personnel are essential to produce products of impeccable quality.
Particular care is devoted to the surface quality of the parts, especially if they are to be painted later.
The importance of deburring
Deburring is an activity carried out entirely in-house, and is of crucial importance for the quality of the finished product.Carrying it out in-house is essential to be able to offer the best quality to the client and monitor the quality of the moulding.
Wherever possible, an attempt will be made to have the parts come out of the mould already finished. As an alternative, however, it is possible to carry out re-moulding operations such as drilling through a jig if the production of certain parts adds too much complexity to the mould such that manual re-moulding is preferred for simplicity.
